Who We Are
As a child, I saw my parents donating to people in need- to support basic and higher studies, wedding expenses for less fortunate girls, to maintain/improve mosques and religious education in rural areas, to provide financial support for travelling to get jobs, providing zakat and feeding the poor. So, charity was ingrained with my life from childhood.
When I got married I found my husband and his family have the same characteristics as me and my parents and he was and still is very much into giving. Together we started giving out charity even when money was a little tight. Together we did all the above mentioned charity plus supported for treatment and maintainnig for kabarsthan (Muslim grave yard) which is eventually the final destination for all muslims.
